eyond my academic background in child psychology and certification as a TheraplayŽ therapist, I have worked for more than twenty years with children and their families. This includes my work in private practice, child welfare agencies, hospitals, schools and institutional facilities. This training and experience allow me to offer an extensive knowledge base of proven treatment programs to my clients, and a keen awareness and appreciation of children's needs.
As a therapist, my role is to discern what the children need and guide them through a healing process. Experience has shown me that children have an instinctive understanding of what they need. This invaluable information helps me to create a safe environment in which the child can explore and express feelings.
